Midterm Digest | Spr '24

Hi. You're receiving this as someone related, adjacent, or interested in Learning Design & Technology @ CU Denver. Yes, we're a Masters Program but we're also a community of practice - thinking and tinkering with emerging pedagogies, ideas, and learning technologies. We are the Learning Agency @ CU Denver - a practicum of the Learning Design & Technology (LDT) program and these are our FieldNotes. We are currently working with a half a dozen clients around the Denver Metro area on real-world LDT projects - learning by doing.

We are not spam nor scam. We are simply exercising good pedagogy in showing our work. Should you not want to receive these occasional notes, let me know - brad.hinson@ucdenver.edu.

What If...

Sex-edu in 60 seconds. We just inked a deal with the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE) to produce a sexual education campaign on Instagram Reels. What if you were assigned this client/project - what would you do?

More cowbell. So, what if INTE6930: Learning Agency could repeat 3 or 4 times for 9-12 credits of field experience, each time with a different client, and it produced a certificate in experiential learning? And it paid for itself using client fueled scholarships. Hint. Hint. What say ye?

Multiplayer Learning. So, what if we produced a Games and Learning certificate consisting of 3 courses and based on learning-quests? Please see Keegan's project-opus, here.
